Ihr Kajakausflug in die Bucht von Phang Nga beginnt mit der Abholung vom Hotel auf der Insel Phuket am Mittag, um die Menschenmengen zu vermeiden. Reisen Sie in einem luxuriösen, klimatisierten Kleinbus zum Ao Po Pier und besteigen Sie ein modernes, zweimotoriges Begleitboot. An Bord wird ein gesundes und gutes Mittagessen serviert.

Während der Bootsfahrt sehen Sie eine Greifvogelshow und erhalten eine ausführliche Einführung in den geologischen Standort der Bucht von Phang Nga. Sie bekommen Grundkenntnisse über das Betreten der Meereshöhlen, oder Hongs, vermittelt und beginnen dann die erste Kajaktour mit Ihrem Reiseleiter. Sie paddeln vorbei an Karsten hinein in Kalksteinhöhlen inmitten der dramatischen Kulisse der Insel Panak und gleiten durch von Klippen gesäumte Lagunen, bevölkert mit Makaken, Bindenwaranen, Eisvögeln, Schlammspringern, Reihern, Seeadlern und Brahminenweihen.

Nach der Rückkehr zum Hauptboot geht es zu einer zweiten Insel, auf der zwei weitere Meereshöhlen zu erkunden sind. Dann, nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit, lassen Sie Ihr eigenes von Kerzenschein erleuchtetes Blumenboot zu Wasser während einer Loy-Krathong-Zeremonie, komplett mit Glühwürmchen und biolumineszentem Plankton.

Etwa 2 Stunden nach Sonnenuntergang stärken Sie sich während der Fahrt zurück zum Pier mit einem Abendbuffet mit Meeresfrüchten (oder vegan) inklusive Reis, serviert mit hausgemachtem Massaman-Curry. Ihre Mahlzeit wird aus frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten vom lokalen Markt zubereitet; die Meeresfrüchte sind mit dem Netz gefangen und das Hühnerfleisch stammt von freilaufenden Hühnern. Bei der Ankunft werden Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in Phuket oder zum Flughafen gebracht.

We enjoyed this tour a lot! Our kayak paddler New was so friendly and fit! The food was great and the creative side of the tour added to the special symbolic meaning of our wish! We even met John Gray and he was so friendly and told us jokes! Thanks for a beautiful memory!

My family was on the fence about booking this excursion - it seemed kind of expensive and we weren't sure what to expect, but we could not be happier about our experience on John Gray's Hong by Starlight tour! From the moment we stepped onto the boat, our guides and the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They fed us amazing food, took us out on kayaks 3 times, explained the things we were seeing, helped us craft our Loy Krathongs, and were overall just fantastic. Our guides, Noi and Boy, were extremely professional, caring, and great guides. It rained for some of our tour, but it did not negatively affect our experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in a day full of fun and adventure!

Our guide Sun was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Scenery was breathtaking—hidden coves and caves, lush greenery. Beautiful!

very interesting experience but not a memorable one though as I didn't swim like the others. I heard from other people that when they join this tour 2 years ago, the last part of the activity was done inside the cave and the water was sparkling. I would say if I can see water glowing inside the cave, it will make this experience a memorable one.

The trip was a great experience, perhaps the timings for lunch and dinner could be set a little bit later. Some of the crew members were very young and didn't have enough knowledge about the places they took us, along with their little English knowledge, it was a bit of a shame because I wanted to ask questions. Be aware, this trip doesn't take you to the main attractions like James Bond or Phi Phi islands... But if you are fine with it, this will be a great experience.

This is one of the best tours I have ever taken. From the minute we were greeted to the minute we got back in the taxi for home, it was a fantastic experience. The food service was unexpectedly delicious and the crew members made all of us feel welcomed, appreciated, and part of the family. Our kayak guide knew so much about the area we were in and pointed out rock formations, plants, coral, and wildlife we might not have noticed ourselves. We also had a bit of down time where we could just jump off the boat and swim in the ocean for a bit. I highly recommend this over the other James Bond Island tours that are out there. I am a solo traveler but didn't feel alone on this excursion which is a big plus in my book. Do it!
