While driving to the National Park, we gonna cross the Forest of La Esperanza and the Nature Park "Corona Forestal". Stopping in different "off the beaten track" view points depending on the weather and the experience´s timming.

In one of the best family own wineries in the north of Tenerife, located in el municipality of El Sauzal, we gonna enjoy a tasting lunch with the most representative products and recipes of the local cuisine, in a unique scenary surrounded by wineyards. Enjoy the local wines, tasting them while eating and a wine tour in the winery, it wineyards and cellars to discover the unique and great secrets of Tenerife´s viticulture.

ENOGASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE: guided visit in a winery and tasting menu elaborated with exquisite products of Tenerife following traditional recipes paired with a selection of three wines.
Starters: Watercress butter, Almogrote and Chorizo Palmero with bread. Chickpeas stew “Tía Lola”. First dish: Cream of vegetables with Gofio four cereals. Second dish: Lettuce salad with Guayonje onion flavored with wine salt. You can choose between: Roasted shoulder of black canary pork cooked in a wood-fired oven served with wrinkled potatoes, mojo of almonds and Chayota jam, or Fish with onions sauce served with wrinkled potatoes, mojo of almonds and Gofio. Dessert: Homemade Quesillo with sponge base and red wine jam. Drinks: Selection of three wines -half bottle of wine per person-. Water, soft drinks or beer. Coffee or tea.

We'd been through Tenerife several times but never ventured more than walking distance from the cruise port. There is so much more to see and do! Jaime was the best guide and we left having made a new friend! We stopped for a most delicious coffee drink (Barraquito) and the meal at the winery was so special. The volcano was visible while we ate on the patio of the winery so it was truly a spectacular day.
