Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Mission District, Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94110

Your San Francisco food-tasting tour of the Mission District kicks off with a breakfast of coffee and donuts. Sink your teeth into an artisan-made treat fashioned from locally sourced, organic ingredients. Choose from an eclectic selection of donuts, ranging from bacon maple apple to chocolate rose to lemon and thyme, perfectly paired with your cup 'o joe.

Your guide introduces you to the neighborhood and its legendary food scene. Stop at a local panaderia, or Mexican bakery, emblematic of the Mission District's Latino culture. Bite into pan dulce, or Mexican sweet bread, made fresh daily, and wash it down with refreshing agua fresca, a blended fruit drink.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Stop At: Balmy Alley Murals, Off 24th Street Parallel to Treat Ave and Harrison Street between 24th & 25th Streets., San Francisco, CA 94110

Continue on to see the murals located along Balmy Avenue, an area with artistic roots dating back several decades. Then sample pie from a local shop, and find your own slice of joy in strawberry rhubarb or perhaps a roasted cauliflower and black olive quiche made with free-range eggs and organic dairy.

After a taste of these delights, hop on a bus (ticket at own expense) and travel a few minutes down the heart of Mission Street, making your way to one of the oldest and most beloved taquerias in the neighborhood for a sampling.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Clarion Alley Murals, Clarion Alley What3words: ///royal.crown.stay, San Francisco, CA 94103

Then proceed on foot to Clarion Alley, where you'll find the second largest collection of murals in the Mission — more contemporary than Balmy Avenue and lined with colorful graffiti. Your guide takes you to the center of the city's hipster scene at the Mission’s best thrift stores and one of the trendiest bakeries where you can grab a final snack.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mission Dolores Park, Dolores Street, San Francisco, CA 94110

Conclude your 2.5-hour food tour at Dolores Park and the nearby Mission Dolores church.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: San Francisco Urban Adventures, San Francisco, CA

Spend as much time as you like here, learning about the history and stories that built San Francisco.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

What a great introduction to the art, food and ongoing history of SF's Mission District. Christian was a great tour guide: would gladly do other days with him.

Isabella was very nice and well informed however the tour was too much, too much food and too much time. In the first few minutes we visited a donut shop and a pastry shop within a few blocks, then tacos at 10:30. FIrst part of the tour was awesome otherwise! Isabella asked if we were ok extending the time to walk through the city rather than take a bus which I guess is what was normal. We agreed however I didn't know there was NOTHING to see during this 30 minute walk and it made the last part of the tour very rushed. Once again frozen hot chocolate and ice cream within a 10 minute period. No time at the Mission Church and a very rushed uphill walk in Mission Delores park. This tour has the potential to be 5 start but not the way it is executed.

This was one of the best walking tours I have ever done. Everyone from dad to the youngest kid was entertained and engaged, Our guide was amazing and thoughtful and funny and really knew his stuff. I strongly recommend this tour!

By her own admission, this was the first time she had led this tour, and it had to be cut short due to protests in Alamo Square. Nevertheless, I wished we had had more information about the murals themselves. One alleyway we visited with no commentary at all, except oh, this is new,. An advertised bus ride was never offered, so I asked if I could meet the group at the next stop. The food was good, not great, and the tacos were way too spicy for us all. Again, had to ask for sour cream to cut the heat. We heard way too many stories of her car being broken into and getting robbed and her favorite tour of the Golden Gate Bridge. She is well meaning, but needs to get a more peofessional approach, including not waiting 15 minutes for latecomers, which I'm not sure is a company policy or not, but it wasn't appreciated.

We had a wonderful guide named Jim take care of us during our tour of the Mission. Who knew the Mission had so much history?! Jim knew so much about the various neighborhoods and the ever-changing city. Not to mention, all of the delicious food that is included in this amazing tour - Be sure you come hungry!

Awesome tour! The Mission is such a cool San Francisco neighborhood. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot about the local history, culture, street art and food scene. The food we sampled was very yummy and we got plenty of tastings, so come hungry!
