Pferdekutschentour durch das French Quarter und St Louis Cemetery Tour
Alle an Bord! Alle Gruppen-Kutschenfahrten beginnen am Kutschenstand an der 700 Decatur Street. Alle Teilnehmer müssen bei einem Royal Carriages-Mitarbeiter mindestens 5 Minuten vor ihrer Reservierung einchecken. Er oder sie wartet in der Nähe des Anfangs der Reihe mit Kutschen unter dem roten Regenschirm und trägt ein rotes Unternehmensshirt. Der Einstieg für alle Gruppen-Kutschenfahrten kann bis zu 15 Minuten dauern.
Los geht‘s! Während Ihre Kutsche vom Jackson Square losfährt, teilt Ihr Fahrer/Reiseleiter mit Ihnen Geschichten von den Gründungsvätern der Stadt, während die Kutsche durch die historischen French Quarter-Straßen fährt, vorbei an Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z. B. der St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square, Napoleon House, und vieles mehr, während die Kutsche zum St. Louis Cemetery Nr. 1 unterwegs ist. Erwarten Sie Geschichten, die sowohl historisch, als auch unterhaltsam sind und sich eignen für alle Besucher.
Stadt der Toten. Nach einer 1,6 km langen Kutschfahrt parkt die Kutsche vor den Toren des Saint Louis Cemetery Nr. 1. Steigen Sie aus der Kutsche und folgen Sie Ihrem Fahrer/Reiseleiter auf einen 15- bis 20-minütigen Spaziergang durch den Friedhof, wo Sie entdecken, warum New Orleans Grabstätten über der Erde verwendet.
Grab von Marie Laveau. Die berühmteste Grabstätte von ganz New Orleans ist die der Voodoo-Königin, Marie Laveau. Ihr Kutscher zeigt Ihnen dieses begehrte Grab, erklärt Ihnen die Geschichte von Marie Laveau und beantwortet außerdem Fragen über die Religion des Voodoo.
Fahren Sie zurück! Nach der Erkundung der Gräber des Friedhofs, steigen Sie wieder ein in die Kutsche und erkunden weiter den Rest des French Quarter, bevor Sie zum Jackson Square zurückkehren.

- All tour participants must arrive 15 minutes early to the boarding location. Late arrivals will miss the tour and not be provided with a second opportunity to ride or a refund.
- Limited mobility, please advise at time of booking if assistance is required
- Carriages are able to visit Saint Louis Cemetery #1 on all reservations booked between 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, with the exceptions of holidays and unannounced funerals. If a funeral is announced, the cemetery portion of the tour is replaced with the Creole Neighborhood known as the Faubourg Marigny.
- The cemetery has lots of uneven and muddy surfaces that are not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, or walkers.
- Royal Carriages cannot control the hours of operation of the cemetery, and will not issue any refunds to customers if the cemetery has an unexpected closure.
- All carriage tours booked after 2:00 pm include a tour of the Creole Neighborhood known as the Faubourg Marigny, and do not include a tour of Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1.

Great! Rebecca was our guide and she was incredible, along with Slim our mule. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered our questions. The cemetery tour was quite informative and very enlightening.
