The drive was nice, even in the rain. The tour guide in Quebec was very good. She was full of knowledge, history and was sure to be inclusive with everyone on the trip. Well worth the price of the tour. The driver was good and safe and knowledgeable; however, this was my second trip with the company and again was hit up for tips. This was mentioned 3 times during the trip. We were told how much to tip the tour guide in Quebec City and the driver stated this was part of his salary. I understand tipping for a good job, but I don't like to be hit up throughout the tour or told how much and it is their wages. Does this company not pay their staff a reasonable wage where their employees make the customers uncomfortable by asking for money.

This is a hard review to write. The guided tour of old Quebec City was very well done in the time the tour guide, "Rock," had available. It was informative and we enjoyed our free time in Quebec, which is a lovely town in a spectacular location. What spoiled our trip was the bus driver, who, consistently asked to show him "appreciation" (aka give me a tip), which I fully intended to do without all the constant hints/asks. It was raining heavily when we arrived in Montreal and he dropped folks off at their hotels, but dropped my friend and I (both almost 70) not even at the pick up point. We were unfamiliar with Montreal and not only got soaked but confused about how to return to our hotel on Sherbrooke Street. We finally got good directions but fail to understand why some folks were dropped at or near their hotel and we could not be? I will not book with Viator again and you can blame your bus driver for that. I did not give him his tip as he totally spoiled the day for us.

Spent an entire day on a bus with very little entertainment or information. I was under the impression we’d have a tour guide the entire drive to give information, but instead we got Roch at Quebec City who was rather uniformative and repetitive, quickly letting us know it was our job to tip him. They could not have pumped out the “spag and tini” restaurants anymore. Whole day was a disappointment and wish i didn’t waste it on a car ride to a crowded town for a few hours. Poorly executed and we were herded around like cattle in 3 buses of 50+ people

As expected this trip was very good. Both driver and guide have best knowledge of whole Quebec. Everything was explained minutely with great sense of humor . Stay at Montmorency was enjoyable but it’s duration should be atleast 1 hour.Old Quebec City was very well explained . Here ample time was given to feel the magnificent city . But some stay time should also be given to hang around Abraham street and down town area . But overall it’s very enjoyable trip.

Three hour bus ride with stop in the middle, both ways. Two hours with a guide in Quebec City then three on your own. Warm, professional guide and bus operator.

The tour planning is well but the driver and tour guilder are two persons with different levels in knowledge and attitude. A mix feeling to make the tour unique

Tour guide was not bilingual, barely spoke English. He also did not give any background information or historical notes about the places visited. The travellers had to figure out what to do and where to go most of the time. Otherwise, it was fine!

The driver was competent and good. However, the flat tire on the bus turned the tour upside down in Quebec City. The local guide tried to compensate but things kept going wrong. There was a mass in the church so we could not see that. Then there was a deluge and my raincoat was on the bus which was being fixed. None of this is anyone's fault but it certainly colored my feelings about it.

Loved Québec city and Montmorency Falls. I appreciated the information I got on the tour; the driver and the tour guide were knowledgeable and friendly. I liked a lot the free time we had to explore the city of Québec. I wish though we could have spent more time in Montmorency.

The tour guide, Rock, was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of Quebec City. The bus was very comfortable and our driver (Andre) was very good, entertaining and gave us a lot of helpful information about both Montreal and Quebec City. The schedules is tight so make sure you respect times set to be back to the bus. That being said there is plenty of time provided at each spot and loads of time at the end of the day to explore on your own.

The ride takes about 3 hours from Montreal and better than driving on your own. The guide was good and explained things as we went along.. There is a stop going and coming to get a bite to eat and stretch. Montmorency Falls was a little disappointing. I thought they would be bigger but they were nice to see. Some guided tours of the city to explain things then you have free time to roam around, shop and explore this very European looking city.. Love the cobble streets and buildings. Quebec City is a must to visit if going to this area. I would suggest the tour over driving.

Great one day trip from Montreal! Very enjoyable and organized. I was picked up at my hotel front door and greeted warmly by a veteran shuttle driver, who wasted no time getting everyone. It was a beautiful day and many people were going. After checking in at the main office our bus left proptly on time with an experienced driver. There was a full bus and the driver made everyone comfortable speaking in English and French with ease. In Quebec City, Our group promptly met our local guide. Again, another experienced guide with over 20 years giving tours. He spoke very good English/ French about cultural knowledge of the area. He was on point and humorous as well. We took a short trip to the falls and returned to the city for 3 hours a free time. Quebec City is wonderful during the holidays with many outdoor German style Christmas markets and much to see. After a full day, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves very much. This is probably the most affordable way to get to Quebec City from Montreal considering it takes 3 hours one way. I would do this again.

We had Quebec City and Montmorency Falls day trip from Montreal on 21st October 2018 and it was an amazing experience with our Driver cum guide - Adrian. He made us feel comfortable and enjoyable through out the day trip to Quebec city. From Quebec city 'Mr. Rock' our local tour guide had wonderful experience and knowledge about Quebec city and it was quiet pleasant moving with him. On the whole except the cold climate the entire tour was memorable and fascinating. I will surely recommend this tour to all.

Wonderful day spent with an awesome bus driver (Ishamel) sp. and tour guide Rock. Ishamel played a funny video of Pranks and people on the bus were hysterically laughing....There was a quick 15 min bathroom and coffee break each way which was nice since the trip was a couple of hours each way. Check in was smooth, bus was comfortable and on time...Rock was a wealth of information as we left Montreal and even more so in Quebec City. I would skip the Falls as there is not enough time there to do anything but snap a picture...and it's not a serene waterfall. I would have preferred that extra 30 mins in Quebec. Highly suggest this trip for Adults and older teens as there is not much for younger kids to get excited about. Again, Viator does not disappoint.Note: I noticed that many on the bus did not provide a gratuity to the Tour Guide or Driver. Keep in mind these people work hard for our comfort and safety and just like wait staff in a restaurant....depend on that gratuity .....

The tour itself was wonderful, the bus driver and the tour guide in Quebec were wonderful. We almost missed the tour because we were given horrible directions for pick up.

The tour hit the high points of Quebec. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting; he also made some great recommendations.
