Sie treffen Ihren Reiseleiter und steigen in den komfortablen, klimatisierten Reisebus mit Abfahrt vom Zentrum von London um 9:00 Uhr. Sie erhalten informative Kommentare über die Show und die Orte auf Ihrer Reise nach Oxfordshire, wo der erste Halt des Tages das wunderschöne Dorf Bampton ist. Hier erhalten Sie einen vollständig geführten Spaziergang durch das Dorf, bekannt als Downton Village. Sie besuchen Post Office, Kirche, Matthews-Haus und viele andere bekannte Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Nach einer Führung durch das Dorf gehen Sie wieder an Bord des Busses für das große Finale des Tages - Highclere Castle. Hier haben Sie ca. 3 Stunden Zeit, um Haus und Gelände des Schlosses mit Hilfe unserer eigenen selbstgeführten Broschüre zu erkunden, die Ihnen Details zeigt, was in jedem Zimmer des Schlosses gedreht wurde.
In Highclere können Sie ein Mittagessen einnehmen (nicht im Preis inbegriffen) und wunderbare Souvenirs im Shop erhalten. Schließlich kehrt Ihr Bus ins Zentrum von London zurück, wo der Tagesausflug endet.

This was a great tour and well worth the time and money. The tour bus was clean. We were able to watch episodes of Downton Abbey while travelling. It made the time go by more quickly. The tour guides were knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions. They had pictures from the show to associate places we were seeing in the town with what were shown in the show. An amazing day and a definite highlight to my trip.

Are you Downton Abbey passionate fan and would like to see where your favorite movie was shot and hear all the stories behind the set? Then this tour is for you. The tour includes a visit to village Bampton and the visit to Highclere Castle. What you can expect from the tour. Well number one and most important you will have most amazing tour guides. They know everything about the movie shooting; tell funny stories behind the set. You have three hours for Highclere castle. The tour includes the entry ticket to the castle and pictured map, provided only by this tour. You see the bedrooms, dining room, and entry hall and explore amazing gardens. This tour was the highlight of our trip to the U.K. We had an amazing day with Amber, our so much fun and full of energy tour guide, and Jimmy, our wonderful driver. The visit to Bampton then to Highclere Castle were just spectacular and the King Tut exhibit in the basement was an added bonus!
