Beginnen Sie Ihr Erlebnis mit einer Abholung von Ihrem zentral gelegenen Hotel in Budapest, und genießen Sie die Landschaft auf Ihrer Reise in Ungarns unberührte Natur.
Nach etwa 30 Minuten erreichen Sie den Gödöllo-Palast. Das elegante Barockgebäude war die Sommerresidenz von Königin Elisabeth, auch bekannt als Sisi, und Franz Joseph I, dem Habsburger Kaiser und Ungarns König von 1848 bis 1916. Der Palast aus dem 18. Jahrhundert inmitten der prächtigen Gärten wurde als Geschenk an das königliche Paar übergeben, das sich hier entspannt und gejagt hat.
Erkunden Sie die parkähnlichen Gärten, und folgen Sie anschließend Ihrem Fremdenführer. Bewundern Sie die große Halle in Gold und Weiß, sehen Sie die kunstvoll verzierte Orangerie, und besuchen Sie die private Suite von Sisi, immer noch in ihrer liebsten Farbe Violett. Ihr Fremdenführer erweckt für Sie alles zum Leben mit Geschichten über die geheime Liebe des Paars 1933, versteckt hinter Türen, und die Leidenschaft der Kaiserin zu Reisen und Reiten.
Anschließend geht es weiter durch die malerische Landschaft zu einer traditionellen ungarischen Farm. Wenn Sie ankommen, trinken Sie ein Glas von Ungarns Nationalgetränk Pálinka (Pflaumenschnaps), und genießen Sie einige Pogácsa - die im Land beliebten, herzhaften Küchlein. Danach geht es weiter. Steigen Sie in eine traditionelle Pferdekutsche, und fahren Sie auf den Wegen um die Farm herum und durch die leicht wogenden Felder.
Danach erleben Sie eine Pferdeshow mit traditionell gekleideten Reitern, die von einem Pferdekutschenrennen über Peitschenknallen und halsbrecherischen Kunststücke alles darbieten.
Wenn die Zeit gekommen ist, fahren Sie zurück nach Budapest, wo Ihr Erlebnis mit einem Transfer zum Hotel in der Innenstadt endet.

It was nice trip complemented by good wheather at the form. We really enjoyed horse show which was excellent. Our guide was very good.

QUIDE WAS A PALACE WAS BEAUTIFUL. WE LOVED THE HORSE FARM! PROPERTY IS BEAUTIFUL, SHOW GREAT CARRAIGE RIDE FUN. MORE FUN AND BETTER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. WE LOVED OUR GUIDE

What a very pleasant way to spend 5/6 hours in Budapest. I thoroughly enjoyed this outing. I was collected by a taxi at my hotel and driven in to town to meet our guide for the day. There was only two of us on this trip. Myself and another young lady named Megan from the USA. Our guide/driver was Marta and she was wonderful. She was such a nice, kind lady. Her knowledge of local history and storytelling was wonderful. The tour of the Palace was interesting and very informative. We had time to sit enjoy a cuppa and a slice of traditional cake which was yummy! Onward to the Horse Show. This was again great to see. The horsemanship and show was magnificent. We also got to taste a local drink down the hatch in one!!... and a traditional savoury scone. We then toured the stables and a museum. Marta then, very kindly dropped us off wherever we wanted. I would highly recommend this tour.

After several phone calls thanks to the concierge at the Marriott Hotel and when they rang the local number, as provided on the documentation, they were given another number to ring etc, once over that problem transport did arrive at the hotel and eventually we left on the tour. The tour guide took us through Godollo Palace but it was rushed at the end due to time constraints. The traditional Farm Trip with Horse Show and Carriage was entertaining. The documentation stated that we would be dropped back to our hotel but this was not the case and we were dropped back in the middle of the city centre and left to find our own way back to our hotel.

This was a great trip and our guide was very informative. I'm so glad I went. I loved learning about Queen Elizabeth's time spent at Godollo Palace. The Horse Farm was beautiful, they greeted us with Palinka and scones, gave us a carriage ride around the farm and then a horse show demonstrating skills Hungarians are known for. It was a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. I just wish it had been a bit longer. We arrived back in Budapest around 2:00pm and had to figure out what to do from there. Also, the tour company leaves you off in central Budapest vs. taking you back to your hotel where they picked you up, so you have to figure out how to get back on your own.
