Great day out. Our guide was very helpful and had good English. Lunch was delicious and the walk on the wall was quite physical but there was a more gentle choice.

Sally was our tour guide, and this was a great private tour (there were just two of us). Sally's narrative and knowledge of history were excellent and really made the tour. The Mutianyu section of the wall we visited was not crowded at all. The buffet lunch was very good, and I would highly recommend this full-day tour.

Great tour with a great tour guide. See the three "must see" sites in Beijing. Surui was very knowledgeable and intersted in the sites. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were fortunate enough to book this one day tour through Viator and extremely fortunate to have Alice as our private guide for the day. From the start to the finish the experience for us was nothing short of sensational. Alice was extremely helpful, polite and thoroughly knowledgeable in making our tour something to remember. The lunch she organised on the way to the Great Wall was very much to our liking and was a major part in our day's enjoyment. We would thoroughly recommend this tour, especially with Alice as your guide, for anyone visiting Beijing for the first time.

Everything from the pickup at the hotel, the sightseeing and the traditional lunch was very well organized. My guide, Billy, was a wealth of knowledge. Great tour.

Linda was great, we saw a lot and has a great day in spite of the bad weather Mr Hue’s driving was great too very efficient and relaxing

Having witnessed the lines into the sights and walking right past them with Linda, to the history we would have never been able to read (the signs come no where close to what Linda knows), we would have wasted our Saturday in Beijing trying to do it on our own. This was a, (The Wall) "Bucket List" for me and figured, "why not do it right" and ordered a tour... OMG - I would have done it so wrong if I hadn't! Wasn't that excited for Forbidden City etc, but mine as well see it all (again - Wall was my focus). Can't even imagine if I missed all the interesting history of the full tour from Linda. Case in point - we are in Xi'an right now (the next weekend) and never thought twice about buying a tour (car, guide, translator etc) to see the Terra-cotta Warriors, City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Street etc. If you are not sure whether you should spend a little more to enhance the experience - my advice is -it is the only experience (especially if you already spent a significant amount of money to even be there). Go get it and do it right!

A great tour was made even better by Sally, our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about the places we went – and about life in China in general. We went during the very busy Golden Week Holiday. Sally timed everything perfectly to avoid the worst of the crowds. This tour is a must for people visiting Beijing.

I have nothing but excellent marks for this Tour and the Tour guide. The sites were awesome and my tour guide Lily was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable person. Lily was on time and she guided me through the crowds with ease. I had already gone to another section of the Great Wall and this section is by far the better of the 2. Lily's english was perfect and I had tons of questions and she answered them all. I was traveling with a group and this was the "free day" but after spending time with Lily, I wanted to tour with her for the rest of the visit. :-) This tour will not disappoint and she even took me to a locals restaurant for lunch and the food was. . . . you guessed it, EXCELLENT! Thanks Lily for making Beijing a memorable experience for me!

The tour was great if you don’t have much time in China it’s perfect our guide Diane was great and very knowledgeable, and by going with the tour you skip the long lines which is great.
