Thonburi Adventures

09.00 AM or 01.00 PM, you will meet your guide at BTS Saphan Taksin skytrain station, exit number 1. A Long-tailed Boat whisks you down the Chao Phraya River and canals (khlongs) of Thonburi – the original site where Bangkok was founded, before King Rama I moved the capital's epicenter across the river to the Rattanakosin Island.

Just across the river from Bangkok, the khlongs of Thonburi offer a glimpse into a slower pace of life. Long-tailed boat will take you into Bangkok Yai canal to see the way of life. Then we will stop by Klong Bang Luang community along the canal which brings alive back by a former of Baan Silapin (The House of Artist) to maintain the memories of the past and traditional ways of life. The Canal has been restored into a culture tourist area, which can see from the architecture, habitation, ancient remain, and former community of residents living.

Then continue boat riding to local area, admire the architecture and background of temples is known as the temples of KING TAKSIN the great, the king of THONBURI era.

Next, you meander to TALAT PHLU thru the old community of Thai-Chinese people. You are delighted by the fragrant aromas and exotic dishs as you pass the various street vendors. Your expert guide selects the best snacks or desserts for your tasting.

Then we will be dropped off at BTS WUTTAKAT skytrain station by ROD KRAPONG which is the most popular local transportation.
